"Horticulture gardens serve many functions"

Horticultural Gardens of Clemson University (currently named the South Carolina Botanical Garden)

This newspaper article reflects on the progress that the Clemson University Horticulture Gardens has made and future goals for the area. Dr. T. L. Senn is interviewed as he talks about possible gardens relocation and expansion not only for the gardens, but for the Clemson Horticulture department as well. Senn also observes that though they do get a good bit of visitors, he wishes more people from around the state, and particularly Clemson students, would come to the gardens more often.
